Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director, and supermodel. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her long-standing presence in the demanding film industry shows her talents and abilities as an actor. In the 1970s, she began her modeling career and quickly was one of the most prominent figures in this industry. Following her studies in acting, Russo began her modeling career at the age of Los Angeles. Russo was first seen on screen on ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 as the character Eden Kendell. In April of 2015, Rose took on Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout in less than three minutes into Round One which resulted in not only champion but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA because this was the for the first time in history that women was a champion with a major promoter worldwide . Namajunas won a number of fights after this win, that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. This earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
